Question by Holly V: Federal tax refund being offset for owing state taxes?
According to “Where’s My Refund?” our refund is scheduled to be deposited on Feb.13th. Does anyone have any idea how much longer it could take to get the balance of our refund after the offset? A rep for the state I owe taxes to was saying that it could be four to six weeks! But then again, another rep from the same state department said it wouldn’t take that long? Has this happened to anybody else? How long did it take to get your refund?

the 2nd rep is correct. you should get your refund on 02/13th minus what you owe or worst case scenario it only be delayed by a day or 2,but not no 4-6 weeks.
